In 1995 in France, music association called JARRING EFFECTS was founded. It runs different activities inside of the music "industry" as well as in musical exchange: recording, publishing, organizing tours and concerts with the aim of supporting the alternative and independent music scene and developing the originality and specialty of expression through music                                       (more info www.jarringeffects.free.fr)

    At the beginning of 2002, Drugi Most established a cooperation between Jarring Effect and MIFOC. It resulted in the publishing of the compilation CD " How do you Sleep ? ", mixing different competencies between musicians of an alternative scene, citizen movements and international organizations. The sale of this CD supports the works and growth of MIFOC, financially and politically.

  The second step of this cooperation was the organization of the first Live Dub Festival in Bosnia Herzegovina of French and former Yugoslav band, held in October 2002 in Mostar. From 03.10 to 05.10  a big top, set up near hotel Ru?a, hosted the cream of french and former Yugoslavian band of the elektro dub scene : Monsieur Orange, Jarring DJ?s, La Phaze, UHT, Darkwood Dub, Jubbooko Sa Negrass, Hybrid Sound System and High Tone. Those bands also played in Travnik and Banja Luka (two towns of Bosnia Herzegovina) during this massive week !! All the artists, technicians, organizers and individuals involved in this events did it freely, motivated by their will to support actively the youth of the region in the rebuilding of the alternative and dynamic music scene, since it does not exist in Bosnia Herzegovina yet.

   We are now entering the third part of our cooperation with Jarring Effects, using the grounds created by the Live Dub Festival to organize trainings in the music field (managers, producers, sound and light technicians) between professional technicians from Jarring Effects and youth of Mostar and its region, during the autumn 2003, in France and BiH.Therefore, the people will acquire technical and working skills to reinforce their autonomies and develop their talents through organization of music events in Bosnia Herzegovina.
